3 Bedroom House in Scarborough

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Whether you're in the area to spend time at the beach or to visit Portland and all it has to offer, this home is the perfect place. We are 5 mins from Scarborough State Beach, Higgins Beach and Ferry Beach. 12 mins to Portland. This spacious home is great for 1-2 small families.
This is our primary home, so we ask that you only book if you will be most respectful.
The space
Our home has a very large living space. A beautiful and functional kitchen that opens up to the dining room. A large mudroom and a super cozy living room with a wood stove (to be used only with prior permission). There are 2 separate office spaces if you need to work while on vacation. The primary master bedroom suite is very spacious and serene with an adjustable queen sized bed. There are two other bedrooms with queen beds as well as an air mattress to accommodate 2 other guests. There are a total of 3 full bathrooms, one on the main floor, one in the primary bedroom suite and one off the upstairs hallway.
There is a large yard to enjoy time outside, a fire pit and a lovely large teak dining table on the deck.

Summary: House and yard are good. Proximity to the beach is great. The house does not comfortably sleep more than 8. Our group of 12 ended up bringing extra air mattresses and squeezing them in random places. The host charges close to double the cost of the listing in extraneous fees after you book. In addition, are new charges listed on house rules when you arrive.

Summary: Perfect for all Portland visits. Close to Rt one so great day rides to Kennebunkport and everything around Portland. The home is extremely comfortable and well equipped.

Summary: Lovely house just south of Portland. Convenient enough to get into town but also a quiet little neighborhood for relaxing after being out in the bustle of the day. We had a lovely time staying here and really enjoyed making s'mores over the fire!
