Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked almost everything about our stay in The Villages last mounth. The house was very good and DHP did everything we expexted. The golf cart was a little loud but no big problem. The keyless doors work perfectly.

We love the location of the house a short golf cartridec to Brownwood Paddock and surrounded by so many Recreation Centers and pools. Property support from Down Home Properties was excellent. An upgrade to living room furniture should be considered.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Furniture in living room was extremely bad - the springs were shot. Very uncomfortable. Dishwasher wasn't working right. We had to be there for Downhome Properties to take a picture and for the repairman to come. Then the owner decided to buy a new dishwasher and we had to be around for it to be delivered (delivery day changed) twice. We had to wait two weeks without a dishwasher for delivery. Owner refused to give us any compensation. The extra bedroom mattress had plastic on it that made it hot and noisy. The air conditioner was limited so you couldn't go below 68 degrees.

Master bed was very comfortable. 2nd BR the mattress had some kind of covering on it and was a bit crinkly. Furniture was not overly comfortable. It was fine for a vacation rental, but not something I’d want to sit in at home. We did not use the golf cart...it was too cold and windy!

Summary: Overall , the property was fine. It was as advertised and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. The drawback was the living room furniture is extremely uncomfortable! Little support in the seats. Also being a little chilly this month, it would have been nice to have the curtains on the golf cart. Zippers are broke so they weren’t useable.

DHP did very well those two times we contacted them with problems and solved them fast. I would like to mention some minor things that might be better. There was no sand can in the golfcart, the sofa in the living room was a bit soft and the kitchen table was a little high compared with the chairs.

A little issue with the 2nd bathroom took longer than we would have hoped to resolve but there were no others issues. Our deposit was refunded promptly. We rented the house while we searched for purchase. Overall we were quite satisfied.

Reviewer Comments: The house was comfortable and nice, this was the second house we stayed in for over two months on vacation. We arrived ahead of hurricane Ian’s landfall but we were confident the Villages would be safe inland and we had all we needed to stay safe inside. There were no issues from the storm and we had good service from Erica at Downhome PM.
