Summary: Every thing you could possibly need for a comfortable stay is in the cottage even down to a dishwasher . The village has a couple of pubs which do food at reasonable prices and a minimarket and bakers so is ideal for a quiet and comfortable stay

Summary: Lovely cottage in a charming village. Had everything we needed for our stay, and the breakfast was a nice extra. Parking is on street, but there were always spaces available. Well placed to reach desired destinations, and with plenty of walks from the doorstep.

Summary: Wow, what a find! Absolutely beautiful cottage in a lovely, friendly village. We had lovely meals at the Red Lion and the Chulmleigh Tandoori, and were lucky enough to coincide with the fish and chip van (Tuesdays 5-7pm opposite the library!) Great visits to Westward Ho! and Exmoor Zoo. Unfortunately didn't manage any walks due to a sprained ankle! The only thing that was a tiny disappointment was that I hadn't realised the courtyard wasn't directly accessible from inside the cottage, but it didn't matter at all and we would really love to return.
