Positive: The location was great. The room was clean. The staff was very helpful and the valet guys were very quick. Overall it wasn't a bad stay, but the owner of the building needs to do some necessary maintenance, or update the amenities list to reflect what a guest actually gets to experience. (An indoor pool sitting at 96 degrees should be updated on the website so guests don't book a room expecting to be able to use it. Just as one example)

Negative: The indoor pool was a sauna. The pool was sitting at 96 degrees and there was no air flow in the pool room. We were told they were getting it fixed, however it had already been that bad long enough for mold to start growing on the ceiling. There also weren't any fans in the bathroom of our room so that also became a sauna when you took a shower. A couple other things that bothered me but it's kind of expected based on location. The elevators were excessively slow. The building only had 7 floors but you could hit the button, walk around, look out the window, and sit down and take a load off before it arrived at your floor. The building is quite old though so it's expected to have a couple of quirks. The other thing was it's valet parking Only. $37 a day to park there on top of the over $200 a night we shelled out for the room. It is downtown St Pete so again, excessive pricing is to be expected. We were also told breakfast would be available starting at 7am however the chef didn't even arrive till after 8am. Overall the stay wasn't horrible, but next time we will probably not go for the convenient location and book somewhere else where the parking is free, breakfast is included and the pool is at a safe swimming temp and just Uber into downtown.

Negative: No free coffee in the morning. Parking is bad and if you valet your car it's a ridiculous $37 a day.
