Positive: I don't think that there was anything I did not like.

Negative: No open balcony, it was closed in. Also, on check in day, which was a Sunday, the office was closed and the keys and pamphlets were in a lock box on the porch. I never received a code to get into the lock box,. So thankfully a lady came up to us on the porch and was talking to us. So she had asked.if we had gotten the code, I said no, so she put hers in and got her package, so while she got hers, I got mine. I called the numbers provided, but of course, no answer. But oh well. Thankfully for that lady walking up.

Positive: The unit was recently renovated and was nice. Kitchen had everything you should need.Property manager was quick to respond when I had a question. We liked that there were extra fans as it was really hot when we visited.

Negative: When we booked it listed a pool. That is the ONLY reason I booked this property. When we arrived the pool was closed but I asked a neighbor when it would open and he said we were unable to use it. I checked with the property manager and they confirmed we are not able to use the pool as it belongs to another community. The listing was incorrect. This unit looks directly at the pool. My kids had to stare at a pool that they couldn’t use. The property manager did offer solutions but it still didn’t make it easier on the kids. We were there for a wedding so I didn’t have time to try and find another place to stay. The towels were very thin and the silverware was a little rusty. I then received a call on Saturday asking me why we were still in the unit since they had us checking out that day. Apparently housekeeping had come to clean and saw our stuff(which makes me very uncomfortable thinking someone was in there when we were not). I assured them my reservation was through Sunday and could send them my confirmation. They said it looked like an issue from not downloading from booking.com to their system and someone must not have entered it correctly, so we were good to stay as I had booked. On Sunday we were loading the car at 9:15 and housekeeping pulled up next to us. They said they were told we had checked out. Obviously this was not the case and check out was 10am. You have to return the keys 15 minutes away so I don’t know who would have thought we had checked out. We felt very rushed to get everything packed and out so they could get in to clean. It just seemed like one thing after another which made the trip stressful when it shouldn’t have been.

Summary: It might be awhile before I feel comfortable using booking.com again
