Negative: The restriction of a double bed in the second bedroom. Twin beds that could be pushed together or split apart would give the option for two older siblings to share a room.

Positive: Cottage was beautiful and smelt amazing when we arrived. The hamper was brilliant and very thoughtful. Hot Tub!!!
Negative: My mum struggled with the first set of stairs as there was no handrail. Also, a clothes airer to dry our swimmers and towels after using the hot tub would have been useful...we had to hang then over the garden furniture at the front of the cottage.

Positive: I liked the peaceful and quiet surroundings. The barn was very clean and well-kept. We enjoyed the hot tub too. The location is also good it's out of the way but only a few minutes' drive to shops and 20 minutes to Torquay. The welcome basket was also a nice little touch.

Negative: A small point but if there are 2 couples with two cars parking is a problem

Positive: Host was very friendly, good communication, told us everything we needed to know upon arrival, provided us with bread and cookies for when we arrived. The house was exceptionally clean and comfy, felt like really good value for the money.
Negative: There was a power cut for an hour on one of the mornings but the host kept us updated with how long it was going to be out for so it wasn’t an issue.

Positive: Beautifully clean, nicely modernised, very cosy. V easy to contact the owner. Having a car charger was handy. We used this as a base for 4 of us to visit old friends in the area, swim in the sea and have some walks and trips out.
Negative: There's space for one car. The double bedroom is small. Hooks or a place to put 5 towels in bathrooms would help (and a way to know which is your own towel! eg different colours). Generally more pans, crockery and a washing machine would be great, but just me being picky :)
