Positive: 1) The breakfast was the standard buffet-style affair. I love making my own waffles! When they ran out of anything (food or beverage), the staff was very receptive and prompt in replenishing whatever we asked for. 2) The staff, in general, was excellent. 3) Considering the fact that the hotel is sandwiched between a very busy street and CalTrain, the room was relatively quiet. (Perhaps that was because we faced the car wash next door, rather than the street or railroad.)

Negative: 1) The most glaring disappointment was the lack of hooks on the wall. Hooks to hang towels and wash clothes. Hooks to hang toiletry kits. Hooks for various other needs. Yes, there were two small ones on the inside of the bathroom door, but not nearly enough. And none outside the bathroom, like near the sink. 2) Another glaring disappointment is that the bathroom door cannot be left open, without placing something heavy (like a suitcase) in the way. So you cannot walk from the toilet/shower area to the sink (or vice versa), without opening a door. That’s not a big deal, if you only have to do it once. But, over and over again becomes tedious. 3) Now, combine #1 with #2, and here’s what you get: Due to a lack of hooks, to use anything from toiletry kits at the sink, you have to open the door once to floss, again to brush your teeth, again to do [whatever]. It becomes tedious … almost immediately.
