Summary: Ac unit didn’t work, fan was noisy, tv didn’t work, there were earwigs in the room, a towel was noticeably stained, shower faucet didn’t work (faucet continued to run when lifted to engage shower), and the outdoor entryway was a river during the rainstorm (drain backed up and spewing water onto sidewalk). Oh, and $20 if you want a late checkout? Feel like this hotel has not been kept up well at all. Not sure how it has a 9/10 star rating. Will not stay here again.

Summary: I was impressed by how efficiently my check-in was handled. I had no problem finding my room, and it was very clean and exactly what I needed for my one night stay. The motel is close to major shopping and restaurants as well as fast food establishments. My stay was exactly what I needed, as it was close to the family I was in Iowa city to visit.

Summary: The main lobby was extremely clean and nice. Breakfast was great with lots of hot selections and a soda fountain! Never seen that before! The pool area needs some fixtures replaced due to rust (from humidity I imagine) but the pool and hot tub were great. Beds were a bit firm but room was good. Would definitely stay again

Summary: The front desk staff during the day and overnight are extremely friendly and accommodating. Some things seem a bit run down (broken gym equipment, out of order game room, pool/hot tub area) but the rooms, lobby, and breakfast area are very well kept. Only complaint about the room is the shower is strangely narrow, slippery, and a large step when you get out, exercise caution. We had a great breakfast one morning (female staff member) the next day, same breakfast offering, but the male staff member could not keep up with the small crowd and was rude to guests when they asked for items to be replenished. Location was close to lots of fast food and restaurants and right next to walmart when we forgot some items. Check in and out was seamless and the check out time was 12pm which seemed late and was perfect for the late starters.

Summary: This hotel had the best breakfast options we've ever seen at a 3-star hotel. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. Only concern we saw is that the pool water was very still, which could allow for bacteria growth.

Summary: The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk working the overnight shift was kind and accommodating. Nice overnight stay.
