Positive: Beautiful accommodation with all the essentials provided. Great location to nearby general store, some great restaurants and wineries. The house retained heat really well, which was amazing because we were there in winter but didn't feel cold at all. The fireplace was cherry on top, which really elevated our stay. The hosts are very responsive and kind.

Negative: If I had to pick one small thing to make this review completely honest, the couches and bed were not specifically comfortable for us. I was 35 weeks pregnant, so that didn't help, but my partner also couldn't get comfortable. That wouldn't deter us from booking again and we would highly recommend others to book.

Positive: It was a delight to stay at this property as we had everything we wanted in the cottage in a most beautiful garden setting looking out to vineyards . We loved the fireplace as it was cold for February and went to a petrol station and bought some firewood . Lots of shops for food close by .

Negative: We weren't given the proper address of the cottage so we had to ring to comfirm address before opening gates . This could have been done better to make check-in less worrying for us .

Summary: It was a delight to stay on this property . I do love old properties with this style .

Positive: No breakfast provided.

Negative: No tea or instant coffee provided and only 2 sugar sachets. Coffee machine but no instructions. Firewood package charged extra, at $75 for 20 kgs wood was outrageous and was not there on our arrival , owner had to deliver, didn’t last 2 days. Name on gate didn’t match cottage name we had booked so very confused in dark due to our late arrival.

Summary: Red Hill is a great destination, this accommodation was too expensive.
