Positive: The staff is sooo friendly and helpful, just wow. They were so kind to our young children and nothing was too much for them. They went above and beyond. The activity team boys were super friendly and energetic. They were always thinking of fun things for our family and taking the weather into consideration. The chef is out of this world - all the meals were incredible and the menu was different every evening. The rooms/houses/clubhouse/outdoors/everywhere !!…sooo nicely decorated and put together. We really didn’t want to leave and will absolutely come back every year! With or without children!

Negative: Good to know that some of the houses are a bit further from the clubhouse which means you need to walk a little longer, over an unpaved path - for parents with kids in strollers it was sometimes a bit of a challenge ;)

Positive: Beautiful surroundings with abundant birdlife, extremely friendly and accommodating staff, and some gluten-free food options available. Overall a great stay.

Negative: The only downside was that our unit was located next to the large kids’ pool, which made it a little noisy at times. If we stayed again, we’d definitely request a room further away for a quieter experience.

Positive: Everything was absolutely amazing. The attention to detail in the decor, the food and the location in general. The staff were incredibly friendly helpful and knowledgeable. The service was impeccable. From start to finish it was an unforgettable experience.

Negative: The conservation fee that we were charged on top of the quoted price. I didnt mind having to pay it but I was not aware we would be charged which was a bit of a shock at the he end of the day. It would have been better if this was made known upfront. Also to be charged extra for the vegetarian dinner option is a bit weird.

The meals were incredible, fresh, wholesome and imaginative, in the best way possible. We thoroughly enjoyed our Boat House Lodge, it was cosy, comfortable and secluded.
