Positive: Excellent location 2 min walk from the bus stop, and a big supermarket. There's a beautiful art street behind the hotel. My room was spacious and it was right by the router, so the WiFi was excellent. Good Aircon, comfortable bed and a very nice attached bathroom.

Negative: The room didn't look anything like in the photos, and they shouldn't advertise smoking rooms when they don't have any at all in the hotel. No desk or even a chair in the room. I'm not a fan of pre arrival check in forms, but made the effort of doing it. It had weird questions as well, like flight arrival and flight departure. I'm backpacking around South East Asia! , not flying in and out just to visit Kangar! When I arrived, they didn't know anything about this, so I had to do the full check in procedure again. They even tried to charge me the tourist tax which had been paid online, one more time. You can't open the windows due to pigeons, and if you use the security lock, you might be struggling big time to open it again.
