Summary: We absolutely loved our stay. It was quiet and peaceful with lovely sound of a brook right outside the window. The location was perfect to town, trails and Hildene House. The Barn was beautifully decorated and well equipped - from kitchen to blankets to games. We wished we had booked it for longer, but have already been telling people to stay here…and it hasn’t even been 24 hours!

Summary: The Barn is one of the best STR we have ever stayed at. Perfect for a couple, room enough to spread out. Very tasteful decor and great amenities. Area activities to check out; So Vt Arts Center, Hildene, and a little more of a drive Robert Frost Stone House in Bennington and King Arthur Flour (flagship stire) in Norwich. Favorite restaurant Silver Fork (IMHO one of the best restaurants in New England and the Restaurant at Hill Farm has the best pizza.
