It not only met but exceeded all of our expectations! Plenty of space inside and out …. very comfy for the four adults who stayed there.

Summary: Overall not what we expected. It was on a busy road, which we didn't expect -- but conveniently located near town. Biggest issue was the musty smell, which we couldn't get rid of because the downstairs windows wouldn't open. Smell seemed to come from the wood on the front porch and was so bad that the other couple with us left after the first night because of allergies. Also, as previously mentioned, the stairs are very steep with no railing. Bathrooms have nice updates and it was great to have access to a laundry. Porch is also a nice place to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine at night.

Summary: We were in town for a family wedding. The location was ideal for having quick access to stores, restaurants and the wedding festivities. Surrounding mountain views were breathtaking along the road close to the cottage. The sitting spot by the Battenkill River across the street from the property was a real treat. The cottage was neat, clean and well equipped with anything you would need while away from home. We would stay here again.
