Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Faults found: the master bedroom-on suite, there are no towel rails for the hanging of wet towels to dry or hang any type of towel?2. Why have a second shower rose and taps in the shower if they have been isolated? both of these shower roses were of a cheap nature and unclean detracting from how elegant the bathroom could have looked.3.During a shower (master on-suite) the water from the shower would pool on the outside of the floor4.There was a blown heat lamp in master on-suite, reducing the warmth from the unit.5.The master bedroom had very limited light, as the main lights were 2 down lights which gave very little light across the room to see things, had to use phone torches to look for items in bags of a nighttime.6.Very disappointed with the cleaning on arrival, major dust crime on the ceiling fan blades in the master bedroom and cobwebs in the corners of the roof.7.When placing and removing power cords into the power points at the bedside near the bathroom in the master bedroom, the power point cover was coming away from the wall. the laundry the dry did not work, It would blow hot air into the unit but would not rotate the drum,9.There were 2 down lights blown in the dining room area. 10. Main Gates rattled and banged against the post during High winds in the Araea, unable to sleep of night due to noise, Owner has secured the large gates to the Water Main Meter Pipes to stop this.During our stay, we had the feeling this home was a bit of mutton dressed up as lamb and had been over worked/engineered to look good, but it did not deliver the desired outcome.

The location was absolutely perfect - situated in a beautiful and peaceful area, yet still close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The house was spotless, and it was clear that the owners took great care in maintaining it. We were very impressed with how clean and tidy everything was.The agent (Sara) was incredibly responsive from the day of the booking and provided us with clear instructions. They were always available to answer our questions and address any concerns we had. We really appreciated their prompt and friendly communication.Overall, we had an amazing experience staying at here. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained holiday house in a fantastic location. Summary: Portland is a town for fishing. Totally have changed my mind on staying here. We have kept house clean and tidy, but still picks up on little things. Watch out! You can’t have fish on premises. Never knew that..must of misread it before booking. Too high expectations, no flexibility..very stingy and demanding. Too strict guidelines, asking too many information to begin with. A note to new customers, plz count the number of teaspoons, forks, mini forks, face washers etc before you start your holiday. Too fussy and strict for my liking and not empathy about you and your holiday stays.
