Summary: Modern and spaceious cottage on a nice little farm, very friendly host and cute dogs included. The living room is cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay. Aside from Loch Ness most points of interest are a bit further away so there is not too much to see around but the cottage totally makes up for that.

Summary: Host was lovely, but we didnt realise it was on a main road which gets pretty busy with locals so not great for walking places from the property. Beautiful locations nearby though.

Summary: We spent Christmas in Oak Cottage and it could not have been a more wonderful stay. Veronica was a communicative and helpful host from the get go and really went the extra mile by putting up some Christmas decorations up for us before we arrived. The cottage is just a little bit down the road from Beauly, so it's easy to get to as long as you have a car. The cottage itself is spacious and well-equipped with everything you'd need. You can also say hello to the animals on Veronica's croft which was an extra treat! We wouldn't hesitate to book Oak Cottage again next time we're in the area.

Summary: This was a really great place. The owner is really nice and welcoming but not in your way. The property has ponies and very friendly dogs that you can interact with or not. The ponies enjoy carrots! The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and welcoming. It’s a great central location for exploring the area. Highly recommended.
