We have restored a large penthouse in Via del Colosseo that can accommodate up to 8 people. The long terrace offers a magnificent view of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums and the Altare della Patria!
The apartment is composed as follows:
- a double living room, with 2 double sofa beds, fireplace and dining table, air conditioning;
- 2 double bedrooms,
- livable and equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals
- 2 bathrooms, one with a hydromassage tub, the other with a shower.
- a long terrace, where it will be possible to enjoy the rare view that this house offers, a private view of the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine on Via del Foro Romano and the Altare della Patria.
At night it is a breathtaking sight.
The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, heating, wifi, sheets and towels.
The fine furnishings, the parquet, the original materials and furniture make this penthouse a truly magical place!

MONTI DISTRICT:
The Rione Monti is one of the most beautiful districts in all of Rome, the name "Monti" derives from the particular geographical location of the district, built right between 3 hills of Rome.
Much of its beauty derives from its narrow streets, from the ancient buildings, from the faded signs of taverns and taverns, from its atmospheres that refer to a forgotten Rome and from a particular vintage charm that embraces the whole district.
Once a popular neighborhood, today the Rione Monti is a favorite destination not only for tourists, but also for Roman youth!

Via Panisperna, one of the most beautiful in Monti. It cuts the neighborhood cleanly and has the basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore as a backdrop;
Piazza Madonna dei Monti is the heart of the neighborhood and the favorite place for young people to meet in the evening;
Via Leonina is perhaps the best street for shopping and stocking up on vintage clothes and here on Saturdays the Urban Market of Monti opens;
The Salita dei Borgia, a steep stairway that leads from Via Cavour to San Pietro in Vincoli and which is covered by a cascade of green ivy.
Finally, Via dei Neofiti is a cross-section of the history of the neighborhood, full of small shops and shops selling street food or jewellery.
APARTMENT RULES:
- LATE CHECKIN: AN ADDITIONAL COST WILL BE REQUESTED FROM 10.00 PM TO 12.00 AM OF € 30, plus € 10 every hour until 7.00.

- For bookings longer than a week, a weekly cleaning of € 60 is provided in addition to the final cleaning of the apartment.

Summary: We loved the amazing location. We wish we could have spent more time in the heart of Rome, right next to the Colosseum. Convenient walking to restaurants, the colosseum and easy to arrange transportation everywhere else. Would love to come again

Summary: This is a very nice property with an incredible view from the long front deck. To the front of the property is the Forum. To the left of the property is a partial view of the Colosseum and some of the adjacent grounds. There is some construction that is taking place to the left of the property for a subway extension. However, noise from that work was not a problem. Riccardo was an excellent contact and always responded immediately to any questions.

Summary: First, I had very high expectations given the rental price for this apartment, and I can honestly say that Riccardo and this apartment far exceeded expectations - well worth it for our week in Rome!! Riccardo and Romanholidays were excellent hosts, very good communication before, during, and after our stay - instructions were very clear, and we were greeted by Patrizia upon our arrival (via private car which Riccardo arranged with ease). She showed us the procedures for the apartment, got us settled, and then kindly spent over an hour with us with recommendations and guides of Rome - basically she gave us a personal overview of the city from the perspective of a local. We've visited Rome several times, and even still it was very welcomed! Now to the apartment - simply incredible! A private view of the colloseum, Roman forum, and a unique view of the city skyline! 2 seperate veranda tables to enjoy meals outside while enjoying the view from the penthouse. The apartment was beautifully furnished, classic and modern Roman decorations, and huge with plenty of space to relax, entertain, and live like royalty! The location was also perfect, even though by the very busy colloseo tourist area, it was at a blocked street (via del Colosseo) next to the metro station and very safe. It is important to know that the metro entrance 1 minute walk from the apartment is closed due to the construction of the new C line, however the metro station is open and so a short walk down 1 level is easy

Summary: Fantastic penthouse right next to the Colosseum! The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property is perfect for a family or two couples. Property is incredibly beautiful and clean, making for the perfect stay in Rome! Additionally, the host was very helpful, arranging transports to/from the airport and train station in advance. Would recommend this stunning property to anyone - whether it is your first or 100th time visiting Rome!
