Summary: Nothing short of excellent. The villa is set in spacious grounds, is very clean and has everything you need. We spent most of the week playing pool, tennis and swimming. Stunning scenery and a very quiet location although not too far from Coimbra which is a beautiful historic town. Cheap to eat out as well. It is a drive to the nearest beach and you have to drive to get some nightlife so not for everyone. Jose and his wife couldn’t have been anymore friendly and helpful. Fully deserves my first ever review at the age of 54(!) and 5 stars.

Summary: We spent a great time here as a family of four. The house and garden are beautiful, very well kept and exactly as described in the text and photos. We very much enjoyed playing billiard and tennis as well as swimming in the pool, and our hosts Jose and Ana were very kind and helpful and really made sure that our stay was perfect. Summary: The owners could not have been more obliging. Lovely homely villa with attractive gardens pool and tennis court. Thoughtfully equipped. Plenty of shade when required. Very restful place to stay.

Summary: We (three couples) had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful and unique home. Jose and Ana are the perfect hosts and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Communication throughout the booking process and our stay was excellent and we were left in no doubt that we could call on Jose and Ana during our stay should we need help with anything. We particularly appreciated Jose coming to the station to meet us, taking us to pick up hire cars and showing us the way to the property. The house is exactly as advertised, is very comfortable and has lots of charm. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Nogales as a lovely place to stay. Thank you Jose and Ana.

Summary: We spent 2 weeks in Nogales (property's name) that were just great. Everything was just perfect: the quiet location (on top of a hill which gives you a wonderful view), the combination of the swimming pool/tennis court/billard table, the great house with plenty of space, and last but not least the care of the owner with welcome and departure gifts.
