Positive: The cottage was clean, warm and cosy, and it really felt like staying in a local Orcadian home rather than just a holiday rental. The location in St Margaret’s Hope was excellent, quiet but convenient, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Negative: Nothing major, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Positive: Walking distance to the Murray Arms Inn. Very close to the St Margaret’s Hope ferry.
Negative: My husband left his reading glasses behind 😩
Summary: We found the accommodation comfortable, the locals extremely friendly and an easy base for us to discover Orkney.

Positive: Location and comfortable cottage. Stayed there 2 years ago
Negative: Cottage very good, unfortunately the local post office/shop has very little compared to last visit. Robertson's Coffee Hoose ( coffee house/restaurant and bar) was closed due to unforeseen circumstances and didn't reopen on the night they had advised

Negative: The only snag was that we were unable to get the TV to work.
