Cinco is a private home on the edge of the historic centre, set into the hillside with amazing views across the countryside to the sea. Our spacious apartment is available to rent on a nightly or weekly basis. Unlike other vacation rentals, breakfast and daily maid service is included in the price, and we are always on hand to see to your needs, while at the same time giving you complete privacy. We can also provide transport to and from the airport.
The accommodation comprises 1 twin bedroom; living room with comfortable double sofa bed, TV and DVD/CD player; a large, fully equipped kitchen and full bathroom. It is centrally heated for winter stays. Ideally suited for 2 people but sleeps up to 4, and even a family of five using a rollaway bed. We also have a cot and highchair for babies, and offer a babysitting service. The living room opens onto a private terrace with beautiful views and guests may also use the pool, garden area with table tennis and garden room. Although we are right on the edge of the village and all its amenities, our location is secluded and therefore the garden is a peaceful place to relax. So you have the best of both worlds!

Cinco is perfectly located for all amenities as it is just a two minute walk from the historic centre and a 15 minute walk from the train station. Sintra offers so many beautiful attractions and all are easily accessible on foot or just a short bus ride away. There are also many beautiful walks and beaches in the area.
As we are so centrally located you have no need of a car, everything can be reached easily either on foot or by public transport. Hiring a car does give you the obvious advantage of exploring a wider area at your leisure. If you choose to have a car there is parking in the square outside the house.
A holiday in Sintra gives you a wealth of experiences, with lush gardens, royal palaces and castles it is the capital of Romanticism. Used as a central base there are also many great days out to be had. Lisbon is only 19km away, Cascais, Estoril, Mafra, Ericeira are just a short drive or bus ride. Even Obidos, Tomar, Fatima or the Alentejo can be visited as a day trip. No wonder it has always been a favourite of poets and Kings through the ages!

Summary: We were welcomed by Carole who showed us around this fabulous property. Huge bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful bedroom and sitting room. All with spectacular views out over the area. The extra suprise was the beautiful pool that looked like it was out of Roman times. She had a fully stocked fridge waiting with everything we needed for breakfast. Such a joy to stay at Cinco cottage, the only regret was not booking for a week. We will return.

Summary: This place exceeded our expectations, we wish we could have stayed longer. The house was super cute and had everything we needed. The location is excellent, walking easily into historic Sintra as well as several sites such as Quinta da Regaleira, a MUST SEE! The house has great views from the windows and patio. It was a bit cold when we stayed, but I still found time to drink coffee outside and try and take it all in. We would definitely recommend this place, and hope to return someday! Pro Tip: It's difficult for Uber to find, we had them use Lawrence Hotel as the pick up spot which is a short walk (but up some stairs).

Summary: Beautiful property in a sublime location with wonderful views. The property was excellently equipped and very comfortable. The addition of the swimming pool was an unlooked for bonus. The hosts, Carole and Stuart did everything humanly possible to make our stay memorable. They had thought of everything and nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing oasis in the bustling tourist town of Sintra. Gillian and John, UK
