Inside, this vacation rental features an airy living area with comfortable furnishings, a large fireplace, a formal dining room, and a telescope for nighttime stargazing and daytime wildlife viewing, including whales, seals, migrating seabirds, and more. The kitchen is well-equipped and offers stainless steel appliances, modern utensils, marvelous granite countertops, and a convenient island. The large, brand new, six-person hot tub is the start of this house - it's sunken into the deck, which means you can relax and soothe your muscles while admiring the views. This residence is the top floor of the home. Downstairs, with separate parking and entryways, are Suite 1 and Suite 2. Both are high-end units of a luxurious two-story home and the other two units may be occupied, so please walk gently.
This vacation rental is less than three miles away from the charming town of Trinidad and its world-famous beaches - Trinidad State Beach is two miles away, Old Home Beach is three miles away, and Baker Beach is less than four miles south. The nearby Patrick's Point State Park offers a plethora of outdoor activities such as hunting for agates, exploring tidepools, and walking through a jungle of shrubs and trees. Trinidad's two heads, Elk and Trinidad, overlook picturesque coves and rugged off-shore rocks.

Summary: PROS: let's get this out of the way.....the view is absolutely stunning. It's perhaps one of the nicest views of the coast line we saw during our entire trip through northern California. One other nice thing, this house is huge for being only three bedrooms. The living and dining rooms have ample space for more people than could sleep there. Lastly, the management company that runs this property were very responsive. We had an issue with the refrigerator and the downstairs tenant, both of which were answered and fixed quickly. We truly appreciated not having to wait hours for a response. CONS: Unfortunately, there are some parts of this house that seem quite dated....especially the bathrooms. They could all use a refresh. Speaking of refresh, the house has a "damp" smell that was off-putting to some of in our group. It got better once we opened all the windows, but didn't go away. Despite seeing multiple ant traps around the kitchen, there were multiple ants found in almost every room. One bed seemed to be a favorite hiding spot for them. Last, and this is probably nit-picky, but a house this big that costs this much should have a washer/dryer. We honestly didn't even think to check the listing when we first booked the property, because we simply assumed that something of this level would have access to laundry. We were hiking through Redwood NP during our stay, and it would have been a huge plus to be able to wash our clothes at the end of the day.
