Positive: The infinity pool with view Mekong was wonderful! Comfortable bed, Great breakfast and very helpful staff! Had a super restful stay after Mekong Cruise on Shompoo boat.

Negative: The town itself is a basic functional border town for people passing through but no complaints as hotel so wonderful! Limited food options nearby and hotel bit pricey.

Positive: This place is a must-stay! It’s perfectly situated right along the Mekong River, offering stunning views across into Laos. The pool was absolutely massive and positioned in the ideal spot to relax and take in the peaceful riverside scenery. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Although we didn’t end up using the onsen, it looked amazing and well-kept. The staff were also incredibly lovely and helpful, making us feel welcome and well looked after.

Negative: There weren’t any real downfalls to this place. If we had to point out one thing, it would be that the restaurant was on the pricier side. Because of that, we chose to eat at a local spot just a short walk down the street.

Negative: The smell of deoderiser was too strong in the room….i think it came from the laundering of the onsen robes provided but it was headache strong for some people
