Positive: The room was spacious with a sitting area and two beds. There was a view of Lombard Street and the top of the Golden Gate Bridge! Facilities were clean.

Negative: I arrived after a long day and wanted to relax and watch some television. The remote was iffy at best, not powering on the TV, and once on, not changing channels or volume. I contacted the desk staff who replied that they only had one other remote. She brought that to my room. That remote did everything except raise the volume. Another call. The same person came with the original remote, had the good fortune to have it work, and told me there was nothing wrong with it. Incorrect. Fortunately, I was able to use the buttons on the side of the TV to turn it on and adjust volume and channels. Had the staff member been even remotely polite about the situation, I wouldn't be mentioning it. However, for the price I paid for the room, I expected a more guest-friendly approach.

Positive: Good. Just needs caution some windows on 3rd floor you can fall out of. No screen .

Negative: Nothing . Just don’t get room across from bar. Has noise until 12am .

Positive: It is always a pleasant stay. We appreciate that the room is clean, there is parking and we are just a block away from restaurants and shops.

Negative: It is a bit outdated.
