Summary: Perfectly simple. Everything one might need for a beach getaway. Kitchen, living room, bedroom and bath all well appointed and comfy cozy. TV in living room has a great sound bar that served as a wonderful Bluetooth speaker, and another massive TV in the bedroom for lazing around if you catch a bit of bad weather. Great little deck out front with views to the North, East and South, and if you catch a clear night, the heavens above. Star-filled skies that will astound.

Summary: Quiet area, great proximity to beach. Can hear waves and watch sunrise on front deck while sipping coffee. Wild horses walk through yard.

Summary: Cute cottage, location is great. Very close to the beach. Easy fixes but needs to be addressed: There was garbage piling on the lot and visible from the deck. Pubic hair on the floor, toilet, shower. Squeaky/loud self made bed, stains on the towels. False advertising of hot tub. We explored and saw it was on site at the bigger house, but not available to us. Garage and ice-maker were a nice bonus, including beach chairs, sun shade, skim board, etc. but we helped ourselves to them, and not sure upon writing this review that it was allowed. Small improvements would make this place great again, but it is somewhat remote, so perhaps we’re overly critical. Overall, good value and had a nice time.

Summary: Cottage is great, very well appointed, all you need is food and bug spray!! Ignore the GPS and stay on the beach till the mile marker the host gives you!! GPS keeps taking you inland and with the puddles from recent storms, it’s an OFF ROAD Adventure for sure!! Loved my stay, I’ll be back! Saw horses along the beach and near the house every day 🌊🐴

Summary: This cottage is very nice for a couple. It is well maintained, almost new. The amenities are good and it’s cozy and comfortable. There aren’t any stores nearby, so make sure you bring everything you need. You can make it here during high tide, but low tide is way easier. We came in late August and the water was a perfect 78F and crystal clear. If you arrive at night, watch out for sea turtles and horses on the beach!

Summary: House is small but very clean, 12 foot ceilings, Lots of windows, big deck. Those added lots of open airy feelings for us. The wild horses are in the yard daily. Fantastic sunrises and subsets! We were also able to see the Milky Way! Simply breathtaking!

Summary: If you are looking for relaxing this is the peaceful place to do it. A few words of advice if you have never been. Watch the Corolla beach video on how to drive on beach. Going out at night is not recommended. The kitchen was stocked with the right amount of cooking equipment. Charcoal grill (bring your own) and do enough food shopping for the week or at least three days. The horses were in the yard. Magnificent. But one day we had to wait a while yo get into house because a stallion was at the car door so we went back to sit on beach. This land belongs to these horses and you need to respect these wild animals. House was perfect for a couple. Bring a kite too and fishing poles for surf casting. Cant wait to come back.
