Summary: We had an incredible week at this house in late September. Everything was as described but the house and location exceeded our expectations. The owner was very helpful and her notes on restaurants and places of interest were much appreciated. The house interiors are just beautiful. We can highly recommend this lovely house.

Summary: This house is a gem!! Beautiful house and grounds. Walking distance from two of the area’s best attractions: the chateau Les Baux and the Carrières de Lumières. Breathtaking views from the garden and pool. Lovely owner and caretaker. Had a wonderful 2-week stay here with my family.

Summary: We loved our stay in this historic stone house. It was perfection! This home is truly lovely both inside and out with careful attention paid by the owners to every detail. In addition to the thoughtfully designed interiors and authentic architecture, we appreciated the beauty of the landscaped yard. The owners are absolutely wonderful hosts! We will be returning for a repeat stay!

Summary: We rented this lovely home for two weeks for a holiday from Los Angeles. It was beautifully decorated and just perfect for us and our toddler. The pool and outdoor dining area is wonderful and it has a BBQ, which we used every day. The owners also use the house themselves, which we have found makes a big difference in that all of the linens, kitchen equipment, etc. were very nice. We also could not have been happier with the location, which was quiet and private and just a short drive away from several towns. We have already recommended it to friends going to Provence next year. The set-up is probably best for two couples with or without children or a large family.

Summary: My husband and I stayed at this lovely home for a week in June. The house is extremely comfortable and elegant, with anything you might need on hand - kitchen supplies should you want to cook, extra towels, plenty of good books to read. While there, we spent most of our time under the pergola enjoying the pool and the beautiful landscaping. We found it to be an extremely relaxing place and looked forward to coming back after a day of exploring Provence. The location is great - allowing you to get to many towns and sights in less than an hour in most cases. Nearby Maussane was very convenient for food shopping and good restaurants. We did walk up the path to Les Baux and also enjoyed hiking right from the house. The views are spectacular. We ate lunch twice at Bistro du Paradou, probably the best meals we had on our trip - highly recommended. Both the owners and our local contacts were extremely helpful and responsive. One of our requirements when renting is that the house is private and quiet (as much as possible being close to town). I will point out that the front of the house faces a shared courtyard - so you will see some neighbors, not an issue since we spent our time in the back yard with the pool and we rarely heard anybody. Also note that the house is connected to the neighbor's - there is a thick hedge separating the two back yards. There was nobody staying at the house next door while we were there so it was not a problem for us, however if there had been we would have definitely been aware of them since they have a pool in back as well. I would highly recommend staying here - I think it would also be a perfect choice for two couples and/or families with children as there is plenty of space and amenities.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed this property. The beautiful home is wonderfully equipped, and has a bright, big kitchen, spacious dining area, and lots of bedrooms. One en suite shower was very nice, the other is smaller, and there is a third with tub. Both master suites are very comfortable with windows with nice breezes and views. Lovely private pool and outdoor space which we would have used more but for the Mistral. Good location to get away from crowds but still convenient to sites and towns in all directions. We especially enjoyed visiting several small hill towns that are an easy drive from this home, and the Pont du Gard and of course the walk up to Les Baux. The nearby village of Mausanne in one direction and St. Remy in the other made shopping for staples such as cheese, fruit, bread and wine very easy. And for those who do not want to disconnect entirely, the WiFi signal is strong and trouble free. Recommend it!

Summary: We stayed at this property for two weeks in July and look forward to an opportunity to do so again. The house has a fantastic feel of being old while offering many modern conveniences and felt very much like a "home". It sits right below Les Baux, and you can climb up to the town in less than 15 minutes. It was also a great base from which to take day trips or partial day trips all over the area. The kids loved playing in the pool daily, and the covered pergola provided the perfect location from which to watch them doing so. The combination of the big, well appointed kitchen, the outdoor table and the awesome food stores in nearby Maussane made for some memorable provencal family meals. The beds were comfortable, and the upstairs spacious. The floors are creaky, but it adds to the overall feel of the place. Our son loved staying in the attic which he quickly claimed as his man-cave. Despite the heat, the house was cool, and the only place we needed a fan was in the attic. I would not hesitate to return. The owners were extremely helpful, as was the their local contact person who responded quickly to questions or concerns.

Summary: Our family with two kids stayed in this very charming 17th century house. Although it has the charm of the 17th century, it is a very well equipped house with all the appliances you need to make it a comfortable vacation house. The location is great: You have a wonderful view on the city of les baux, only a ten minutes walk from the center, but away from the stream of tourist arriving in les baux every day. The main bed room offers a wonderful view in the garden and the pool, it is a perfect start of the day. All bed rooms are separately accessible, two of them have a bathroom attached. It is a perfect retreat for two families or three couples. We can highly recommend it. Staying in such a charming house makes a whole difference on how to experience the Provence.

Summary: We love Les Baux! We had a great view of the hilltop village, and could walk there easily. The Carrières de Lumières are well worth a visit and there are stunning walks in all directions. The pool and garden are delightful, and the house itself is very stylish, clean and comfortable. There is everything you need to feel at home and the hosts are very helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay in this property, it really is as great as you see in the pictures.
