Positive: We had a lovely stay at the Cottage. It is really cute and comfy, with all types of details you need to feel at home. The kitchen was perfect and we were cooking several times there. Beds were comfy with a variety of pillows for every taste. The bathroom was small but functional, and we had a parking area right at the entrance. Lastly, our host was really nice and answered our questions really quickly.

Negative: Everything was perfect, but it is true that the cleanliness could have been a bit better.

Positive: This property exceeded all my expectations. Not only was it conveniently located near my daughter's home in Fullerton, but the hostess (Julie) thought of everything a guest could want - right down to a supply of cream, sugar, and coffee and a guide to the area. This spotless home is beautifully appointed - the beds are comfortable, the living spaces well thought-out with ample amenities, and all the kitchen items needed are on hand for a perfect stay. In addition, the outdoor spaces, like the porch, front seating area, and side yard, were lovely places to sit, relax, and watch the hummingbirds. I can't say enough good things. 100% recommend!

Negative: I rented a large SUV for a family event and the parking was a bit tight for such a long vehicle - but the parking space still accommodated it. A better driver would have no problem - and there's plenty of room for a standard car.

Positive: This darling bungalow in Fullerton was more spacious than it appeared online. It makes excellent use of the floorplan, with an open concept living room and kitchen, a spacious master bedroom, and a comfortably sized extra bedroom -- plus the beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces with the sweetest hummingbird visits! Natural light pours in through the windows, creating a lovely ambiance. The bathroom was also a good size and super clean, with plenty of plush towels, facecloths, and toiletries. What struck me most was the decor, which not only capitalized on the Craftsman-style charm and features, but was complemented by lovely works of art, light fixtures, and curated furniture throughout. This gave the property a distinctly upscale vibe, making it a pleasure to stay here. Julie also allowed for an early check-in, which was so convenient. Additionally, I loved the extra security measures, like the ability to turn on/turn off alarm monitoring, the Ring doorbells, and easy-to-operate privacy shades - not that the neighborhood seemed to warrant it, but traveling solo this time, they were welcome features. Also, knowing the hosts (who were so pleasant, btw) were in the house behind the driveway offered additional comfort. This rental property ticks all the boxes, and Julie has gone to extra lengths to make sure guests enjoy all the creature comforts and amenities that are hallmarks of better hotels - Better yet, it's in your own private escape! Poised close to downtown Fullerton and nearby attractions, this cottage is as charming as advertised -- and then some. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. In fact, I plan to on my next visit!

Negative: Honestly, I enjoyed everything about this charming cottage and the hostess...if I had to pick one thing that could be a negative, the parking is limited but totally doable, private, and on the property.
