Summary: Our family of 10 stayed here for five days and absolutely LOVED it! Thibeaut, the house manager, met us when we arrived and showed us all around the property that he and his wife have lovingly renovated. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, and our family enjoyed the amenities, especially the pool.If you are thinking about having a special celebration at the house, as others have said, Chef Francoise is your guy!We celebrated a Law School graduation and a 60th birthday while there, and made wonderful memories!

Summary: We stayed as a group of friends ranging in age but mostly fun loving oldies, and while we were expecting something special from the stay with the bar set quite high, our expectations were exceeded. The check in was simple and it was great to see from the host the passion that's gone into the place which is difficult to put into words given the charm of Chateau d'Argouges; a truly wonderful place to which we will return for sure.

Summary: Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Chateau d'Argouges! The chateau is beautiful and well cared for. The landscaped grounds are great as well. Be mindful of an additional check-out fee for housekeeping and additional taxes that are not included in the VRBO costs. Overall, we loved our stay here.

Summary: 12 adults shared a wonderful 8 bedroom Chateau in the Normandy region. The historic property is well modernized with most baths en-suite. Great country kitchen, large refrigerator, and all located within 30 minutes of most of the key D-Day sites. No complaints, would rent again.

Summary: We had a big family group and the house was large enough for all. Hire the chef, François! What a wonderful weekend- we went to Mont St. Michel, Normandy beaches and to Bayeux.
