Positive: What we did like was the interior, it was simple but functional. Having two bathrooms was convenient, and the beds were comfortable. The furnishings were adequate for a short two-night stay, especially as we were out early and back late each day for sporting events.

Negative: The garage and parking situation was also extremely disappointing and misleading. We specifically chose this property because it advertised a garage, as we were travelling with very expensive sporting equipment (including a go-kart, tools, and gear stored in our van). However, on the day of arrival, we were informed that we could not use the garage due to the low roof height and our vehicle being too high and long. This information was not disclosed prior to booking or arrival. As a result, we were forced to park our van with all of our valuable equipment on the street, which is neither safe nor secure. This completely defeated the purpose of booking a property with a garage and placed our belongings at unnecessary risk. Check-in was poorly handled and created a safety concern. We were given a lockbox code, but on arrival late at night it didn’t work as it had been changed that day without notice. This left my husband and our 14-year-old waiting outside in the dark using phone lights until we received the updated code. There were also neighbours nearby watching, which made the situation feel uncomfortable and exposed. This was easily avoidable with proper communication and did not meet expectations for a safe, smooth check-in.

Positive: Very comfortable bed in the main bedroom, made a nice change. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Good communication from hosts.

Negative: Bedrooms got hot quickly with the morning sun. Be nice to have fans in each room.

Positive: Plenty of utensils , kitchen appliances , etc supplied . Good shower .

Negative: Gets very warm in bedrooms as no air con or ceiling fans and with unit being upstairs even on just mild or warm ( not hot ) days. Couldn’t open window in main bedroom to let any cool air in at night either .

Positive: Clean comfortable and value for money. We stayed for 4 nights

Negative: No pegs or clothes horse to dry clothes No mention of stairs, no handrail. I had an aging mother. No plastic bowls or microwave bowls for cooking. Pillows were cheap and nasty
