Summary: Beautiful hotel in a good location. So lovely to sit on the veranda drinking coffee and chatting. Lovely room although not many sockets in room. Disappointed that a small breakfast wasnt available.

Summary: Overall, we were very pleased with the Castle Manor Inn. We stayed in the main house on the second floor and had a lovely view. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated but spacious, comfortable, and well-furnished. The bathroom was small, but everything worked well and it was clean. In general, the room seemed quite clean, although we found some trash under the bed from a previous guest. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but we appreciated the complimentary coffee. Loved sitting on the wraparound porch in the morning. We were very happy with our choice. For guests planning to spend time at Gloucester Harbor, it is worth mentioning that the direct route from the hotel to the harbor passes over a canal with a bridge that opens for passing boats. Three out of the four times we tried to cross the bridge, we got stuck for 10-20 minutes waiting for the boats to pass. Not a big deal, but it's not quite as convenient to get to the harbor as you might expect. Overall, though, we would be happy to stay at the Castle Manor Inn again and would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Overnight stay for the star gazing trip out of the harbor.Had to scenic view room which was lovely large and a view.Would have appreciated a small fridge in room to keep drinks .The bathroom was small but andclean.Overall would stay again-quiet beautiful .

Summary: The place itself is beautiful but unfortunately there was a wedding happening while we were there and it took up all the outdoor space so we were not able to enjoy it and had to pretty much stay in our room had nowhere to eat our dinner no table or chairs in our room.

Summary: It is a restored old inn and just lovely. Views are great. Our room was on third floor with no elevator but even though I use a cane, it was do-able. There is a very nice wraparound porch to sit on with wicker chairs.

Summary: Property wasn’t what was pictured on website. TV did not work and when asked about it was told what I should do to try to fix it and no one offered to come take care of it

Summary: The staff from the manager to the housekeepers were all very friendly, hospitable, professional, and accommodating. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The only criticism I have is of the room. 1. Bathroom window was stuck shut with no fan in the room. Any showering caused steaming of entire room. 2. Water was set so hot that chrome was peeling off the how water knob on the bathtub. 3. The valve stem for the cold-water bathtub knob is defective causing water to leak. There is a slow drip even when both knobs are closed to off. When I came into the room, the previous occupant had closed the plug to the bathtub to demonstrate to the next person that there was a leak. 4. It would have been nice if there had been a desk and a chair in the room (or at least a table and a chair ) if a person wanted to do any type of work or eat in the room.
