Summary: It is a beautiful and historic hotel. It doesn’t have the luxuries of many modern hotels, but it is comfortable, clean, and one of the nicest staffs I’ve encountered. We will stay here again!

Summary: I honestly cannot say enough about this hotel. For years, it was the spookiest-looking place around, but the results of the renovations are amazing. Everything is fresh and spotlessly clean. Polished floors and windows, detailed ceilings, period furnishings, comfortable (and anti-bedbug sealed) beds, luxury linens. Our room had a mini-fridge and a microwave, ceiling fans and large-flatscreen tv. For a lower price than any of the national brand hotels, we had a luxury stay with character! Add in the friendly, helpful staff and onsite restaurant with great prices and delicious biscuits and blue corn pancakes… you really can’t beat it!

Summary: Restored historic railroad hotel with helpful staff. Air conditioning was quiet and we made use of the ceiling fan.

Summary: This was an old historic hotel with huge ceilings and large rooms with lots to clean. We appreciate the charm that goes with old buildings. That being said, a better job could have been done with checking out of the way spots, like window ledges behind the curtains had cobwebs and needed cleaning. The bathroom was very clean.

Summary: Old hotel built in 1892,you can tell the town and hotel enjoyed an age of prosperity but that time has passed.Beautiful hotel with large rooms and amazing nostalgic decor but the town is closed from Sunday threw Wednesday so unless the gas station is your reason for visiting Las Vegas I suggest looking elsewhere…over all 4 stars for hotel 1 for the town

Summary: We truly enjoyed this property....so much character! We were upgraded to a bigger room without request. We loved the history of the place and convenience of being off a major freeway, downtown and by a train track but without the noise. Staff were kind but perhaps still learning. Breakfast was not served on Tuesday and Wednesday but hot coffee available in the lobby. The bar was closed when we arrived but looked cozy with plenty of seating. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Excellent historic railroad hotel with delightful staff. The connoisseurs choice and worth diverting to stay in (it’s a funky town too). No food service early in the week. I think someone had been grooming a Newfoundland in the bathroom and housekeeping somehow hadn’t spotted the new carpet that had formed but small fry in the bigger picture.
