One mile to the PCT trail. Waterfall at McArthur Burney Falls Park is breathtaking. Snowmobile parks, sledding, downhill/cross country skiing offered at Mt. Shasta an hour an half drive. Those with the exploring spirit visit the Subway Caves located in Old Station. Fall River Mills boasts a golf course with beautiful mountain vistas. Mt. Lassen 1 hour journey well worth the trip. Summary: Great spot to fish and access the state and national parks. The sun room looking over the river is a wonderful spot to play cards or enjoy a meal. We spent so much time in that room as it was just a beautiful view. Will continue to go there every year i can.
