Positive: Very comfortable apartment on the top floor of an interesting old house in an excellent location, a short stroll from the lake and just a couple hundred metres from a variety of small shops and restaurants. A lovely, flat walk along the top of the lake to the old town, about 25-30 minutes away. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and the hosts were very friendly. Bikes were available for hire if we'd wanted them.

Negative: Because of the apartment's proximity to shops and restaurants, there was some noise late at night from people going home and early in the morning from deliveries, particularly the bakery just across the road.

Positive: Lovely loft apartment above the owners' house with a small balcony. Kitchen had everything we needed and the rooms are spacious and clean. Lovely bakery and restaurant across the street. Grocery store 100 m away.

Positive: This apartment is in a quiet location close to the lake and the centre of the city. There is a fantastic bakery and pizzeria within minutes and the off street parking was good. The unit is well appointed and everyone was very helpful.

Negative: We stayed in a very hot couple of days. I would recommend a couple of fans to help with airflow.

Summary: A fantastic location and a wonderful unit. We would happily stay here again when we come back to Annecy
