Summary: Casa Kuxtal is lovely: high ceilings, beautiful tiles, good ac and fans, very clean and great location! The jardin needs some work and the pool is not very big and fills quickly with leaves. The hot water in the house is super hot But only lasts a few minutes. Unlike most tentals there are no ants! Amazing!

Summary: My husband and I stayed for just over a month at Casa Kuxtal and loved it. The location is just perfect with an easy walk to so many of the key places in Mérida. The house itself has pretty much all you need for a relaxing stay. We loved the garden and all of the light that the big window brought into the living room. The design of the house and the ceiling fans allowed it to stay quite cool and while there were three air conditioners, we only ever used the one in the bedroom.Would we stay here again? Most definitely!

Summary: The property is in a perfect location - restuarants and shopping are all withing walking distant. The Santa Ana market, church and park are just across the street. Found a wonderful little coffee shop on Calle 60 that is just a short walk from the house. House large and clean. The only issue we had is that communication is by messenger - so, until I found that out were were locked outside not knowing the combination to the lock box. Issue resolved once when go Esteban by phone. The washing machine did not work - when my son tried to use it, water flooded the small room outside. The laundry room was very cluttered so even if you could wash it would be a challenge. I understand that there was no dryer - but we could not have hung clothes due to overcast days with drizzle. I recommend using any local laundry mat - all clothes wash and dried at the same time and very affordable. The other issue is the 2nd restroom is outside - this should be stressed so people can make an informed decision. More towels would have been nice - we had to buy additiona towels as well as toliet paper and paper towels. All that said I would still stay there again - it's too perfect a location.

Summary: This property was great for our short stay in Merida. The location was walking distance to Paseo Mentejo and the shops and restaurants of Calle 60. The home was charming and comfortable and the hosts were gracious and responsive. We appreciated their hospitality!

Summary: We stayed for 12 days and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house is perfectly located, close by the central area while still a fairly quiet location. The owner was very responsive to our concerns.

Summary: In short, Casa Kuxtal made our stay in Merida magical. The kids lived in the pool when we weren’t climbing Maya ruins, touring museums or eating cochinita pibil in one of the many nearby restaurants. The house is stocked with everything you need (and nothing you don’t), including the kitchen. While the central location can’t be beat, it’s a quiet oasis once inside and in the back garden. To top it off, Esteban (our host) was quick with communication and very accommodating. Make this your Merida home base, you won’t be disappointed!

Summary: Our month stay in Casa Kuxtal could not have been better. The house was spacious and very well equipped. (There we're even things like spare light bulbs and batteries.) In the Merida heat, the dipping pool was greatly appreciated. The location was perfect. It's a short walk to the heart of the Centro, but far enough away to avoid the congestion. However, it's a very short walk to some of the best restaurants. If you want to eat in, you can find what you need close by.
