Positive: The hosts could not have been more helpful, communicative and flexible with us. The house has absolutely everything you could need in terms of provisions for cooking and personal care e.g toiletries and clothes washing etc. There is plenty of space in the house and it could easily have accommodated 4-6 people. The location is brilliant for visiting Montserrat.

Negative: While the house is quirky in it's age it is also a little tired and could do with some renovation e.g. the large crack in the bathroom basin and floor tiles that are loose. However, the price paid reflects this and is super good value for a 3 bedroom home. Parking on the street can be tricky. While we always managed to find a park it was at times a good walk from the house, particularly if you arrive late at night after eating in another towwn (which is a necessity as the restaurants in Monistrol are lunch only on most days)

Summary: Good value, convenient location and super helpful hosts albeit a bit tired

Negative: The twin single bedroom was somewhat compact

Positive: The location was perfect for visiting Monserrat. We took the funicular up and walked down with splendid views. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The accomadation was a modernised home that retained the charm of its past. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking while the small town had a number of restaurants to choose from. The bed was very comfortable.

Negative: The only thing that could be improved is for the shower head attachment to have a a holder that pointed the water down so that your hands can be free to wash hair.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this House near Montserrat.. It was wonderful having less tourists after 6pm... just remember... Access to Monestry close at 6pm, not like website say 7pm... The house had all we need and was wonderful for 2 Couples ..2 private bedrooms and a bathroom in hallway. The host was very friendly and helpful... We find parking very easy nearby in street.. and could unload our luggage near apartment.. we can also recommend the Chinese Restaurant nearby... best Chinese food we had in a long time and so affordable... Beer for 2 Euro!! We loved it all...
