Summary: We loved it, but would have appreciated just a tiny amount of food staples. We appreciate we are in Covid times, but all we found was one tub of slightly damp salt. For a family coming for a week, it's a waste to have to buy pepper, spices, oil, etc... and have to leave most of it there.

Summary: Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Back in time serenity. Gorgeous views throughout this volcanic valley with outstanding hikes nearby and throughout the island. Best restaurants were 15-30 minutes away but always worth it. Azores provided great, great food. The Portgugese wines were excellent and very cheap. Casa Grande is an outstanding home, and a throw back in time. Loved coming “home” after long hikes. No TV but has WiFi. Beds may be a little short if you have any tall members in your party. The Tea House down the street was great for small meals. Ruban was very helpful and available whenever needed. Absolutely loved the Azores, everything it had to offer, and its exceptional prices. Go now before it gets too crowded 😊

Summary: A great place you can make your own. Lots of space and grounds to make use of. Wifi was a bonus and walking distance for restaurants and a stunning view from all aspects

Summary: Casa Grande is a spacious historic home which easily accommodated our group of 8 adults. It is surrounded by beautifully manicured private gardens. The house is situated in a caldera directly across from the lakes at Sete Cidades offering breathtaking views in all directions. Although steeped in history, it is well equipped with all the modern amenities. The village of Sete Cidades is within walking distance and Ponta Delgada is a half hour drive. Highly recommended.

Summary: The house in even more beautiful than in the pictures. Its situated in a huge magnificent ground with gardens and walking trails. The rooms were very neat and clean and have all the amenities. It easily accommodated our group of 6 adults and 1 child. Alexandra was friendly and helpful and welcomed us with local cheese and bread and pineapple. Tomaz was very prompt with all my questions and helpful. Can't wait to be back!
