Positive: We were met at the door and shown the property by one of the super friendly and helpful hosts. We have stayed in a wide variety of properties all over Portugal and this was by far one of the best. The house has everything you could possibly imagine, we give it an easy 5 stars. The location is very close to the castle and Medieval village. We highly recommend this property. Look forward to staying again in the near future.

Positive: 5 star experience! This home is even more beautiful than the pictures. Huge home with an impressive kitchen. The location was perfect too. So much close by! Fatima was absolutely breathtaking!! Just a short drive from everywhere and a true mountain side experience. The host is very attentive to details and the house is very luxurious. He was also very helpful and a great person. Highly recommend this place.

Positive: Very charming, cozy, well-appointed home. Everything you could need. Plenty of room. Lots of modern touches balancing old-fashioned charm (exposed beams, stone, etc.) Comfortable beds, great shower, heated floors were amazing!! Excellent, responsive communication from the host, and we enjoyed chatting on arrival. We were able to leave our bicycles inside the locked gate area.

Negative: We had an amazing time and great restaurants nearby-- I imagine most visitors here will have a car, but if you do come without a car, note which days the nearby (castle area) restaurants are closed. Easy cycle to Ourem and other nearby areas. O Curral for dinner was an excellent recommendation!

Summary: Well-appointed, heated floors, and next to the castle!

Positive: This is a very spacious clean and welcoming house. It is very well equipped with high quality appliances and facilities. The photos on Booking fail to represent how beautiful and spacious this house is. The owner recommends to use WhatsApp for communications upon arrival.
