The Casa do Alemão offers 4 to 5 people plenty of space for a pleasant and relaxing vacation on the Azores island of Terceira. On 90sqm there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large living room with kitchen. There are also two terraces and a spacious outdoor area with lots of green.
The living room:
In the master bedroom you sleep comfortably in a double bed - you can access the bathroom from the bedroom. The second bedroom has two single beds. There is also a fold-out guest bed in the house, on which another person can sleep. In addition to the large bathroom with bathtub, the house also has a smaller bathroom with shower.
The living room is divided into a kitchen area with an open kitchen and large dining table and a living room area with two comfortable sofas and TV. An open fireplace provides cozy warmth in the winter months. The kitchen is equipped with everything a modern kitchen has to offer: fridge and freezer, dishwasher, stove with 4 (induction) hobs, electric oven, microwave and of course various kitchen appliances.
In addition to a television, the living room also has a DVD player with an extensive CD and DVD collection. A small library and free internet (wifi) complete the media offer in the Casa do Alemão.
From the living room you get to a spacious terrace with sea views. Tables, chairs, deckchairs, parasols and a hammock are available and allow you to relax after a hard day's vacation. If you want to grill your self-caught fish, you can do it on a charcoal grill, which is located next to the terrace. Another smaller terrace is in front of the house - of course also with a view of the sea.

Summary: This lovely home was exactly as advertised. The instructions provided to find it, enjoy it and the lovely town with the wonderful sea views for dining outside were all helpful. It was clean, well stocked with everything needed to feel at home for a week. Off street safe parking was an added plus. It is close to town, to groceries and with easy access to tour and visit the Island. The Movie collection is very generous and everything worked. We have stayed in several homes and this was the best.

Summary: Clean and well equipped house. Friendly and efficient support personnel when needed. Easy access to everything. Fireplace kept us cosy and warm in the cold days.Good video selection to watch as well. It was nice to be able to walk to a very nice restaurant or get any conveniences close by. Parking was also convenient for the rental but taxis were very reasonable between Porto Judeu and Angra do Heroismo or Praia da Vitoria. We even enjoyed the occasional bus ride and the interaction with the very friendly people of the island.

Summary: A nice big haus with a wonderfull view to the sea coast and a super barbecue. What should I say? We were 4 persons and didn't miss nothing in the haus during our stay. Porto Judeu is a quiet small village very near to Angra do Heroismo (a beautiful city) and great as returning point in the evening. After the sight seeing during the day we just grilled some fish at the barbecue, eat outside and enjoyed the see view. If I come back to Terceira I'm sure I'll book it again.

Summary: We really enjoyed the beautiful view and this nice house. It was comfortable, had a great kitchen that looked out onto a fields of green, goats grazing and the beautiful ocean.

Summary: Our family spent three nights in this pleasant vacation home in a residential area of Porto Judeu. The home was clean and comfortable. The kitchen and laundry room were well equipped. We enjoyed the view from the side of the house facing an adjacent pasture with a few grazing cattle (ocean in the background). It was very relaxing. Harald quickly responded to my emails and it was obvious that he takes pride in owning this home. We were very satisfied with our stay at Casa do Alemao.

Summary: My husband and I stayed at this house last summer, we truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful old remodeled house, it has the old world charm but with all the amenities one would expect today. The views were pretty great as well, the hammock and outside seating were another plus. It's close to everything, (although it's a small island and everything is:) ) Harald, the owner was great, the payment transaction was flawless, he was great at responding to emails very quickly and is even available by phone. We are business owners and he was able to get a box for us to get WiFi. Instructions were sent via email with key code and such, we were in the home within minutes. The price was reasonable, but it will be even better if shared with others as the house sleeps 6 to 8 people. We would stay here again. We reside in the USA, but I was born in the Island. Love Terceira!!
