Positive: Extremely friendly owners living in the house next door. Sharing products and eggs from their own garden and chickens. We were arriving very late due to late arrival of our plane, but they were still very welcoming. Location is good to see the whole island. There is lots of space around the house to enjoy sun or shadow.

Negative: The beds are too short for anybody over 1,70 m. The mattress (at least the one I used) needs replacement, its sagging and not comfortable. Though there is enough outside space however besides some wooden benches, more comfortable garden seats are not available, which I thought its a pity.

Positive: The hosts are of exceptional hospitality!!! We felt like we were at our parents' home. The house is well equipped (microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine and drying machine) as well as very well decorated. The hosts have a garden with plenty of different plants as well as chickens. We were lucky to live there at the moment when new chicks were born - so our daughters have spent quite some time with them. The house is situated on the main street of Porto Judeu with few restaurants and a little shop nearby (a bigger supermarket is 5 minutes away by car). Any point of Terceira is accessible in max 35 minutes by car. Thank you very much, Joao and Manuela!!

Positive: The host went above and beyond expectations to make our stay comfortable They welcomed us with fresh baking, strawberries from their garden and fresh eggs from their chickens. They provided a brief outline of attraction that were within walking distance from the guest house.

Negative: The mattress was very hard but surprisingly we slept well.

Summary: The place is perfect for a group who enjoy a place to socialize privately and like old world decor

Positive: The owners of the property are the hostesses from the heart! They met us, show the house, explained everything. The house is fully, fully equipped and beautiful furnished, decorated. We got even welcome cake, home eggs, strawberries and fridge filled with food, drinks for breakfast! Thank you for that again! Small but pleasing gesture. The house is a short walking distance from the beach and restaurant. The house has balcony to the road side.

Negative: Too much religious things in the house. Bed was quite short even for 1.65cm sleeper. Owners do not speak English well but we still found the way to communicate!

Positive: The host is the warmest and most hospitable host I have ever encountered. The hostess personally made bread, cakes, and pastries, and there were fruits and flowers arranged on the table. All of this instantly transformed our weary journey into a warm and comfortable one. The house provided to us was completely independent, meticulously arranged, and cozy. The parking space was also spacious. We will definitely choose this house again next time
