Summary: The House is a good size and very good clean

Summary: Casa Rosa (the Pink House) was the perfect spot for our 5 days on Pico for our group of three couples. The owner, Manuel, speaks English fluently and is extremely helpful. He, and his brother- and sister-in-law, who live next door, were very responsive to any issues we had, including coming over at 11 pm to restore power lost during a storm, and responding within a few minutes when one of our party got locked in a bathroom! And, after all their help THEY gave US a bottle of wine for our trouble! As for the house, the five bedrooms provided plenty of space and choice, and each couple had their own bathroom (which is hard to find). The kitchen was large and well appointed and there was plenty of space to spread out in the house. The outdoor dining table worked well for breakfasts and dinners. Casa Rosa is about a 5 min drive or 25-30 min walk up a gradual hill from Madelena harbor. It’s perfect if you have a car as there is onsite parking. If no car, the walk is not difficult, and you pass a grocery store on the way, which is convenient. There are also inexpensive taxis if the walk seems too long, but be aware they stop at 10 pm. We were very happy with our stay at the Pink House, and would definitely recommend it for any larger groups or families.

Summary: We traveled to Paris, Lisboa and Pico island and this was the best most relaxing place we stayed. When I go back to Pico island I will make every attempt to stay here again. We loved it. Thank you so much for our stay.

Summary: We stayed 10 days at the home and loved it. Manuel was great and we felt welcomed in this spacious home. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This was absolutely a beautiful home for our group of 7 to stay quite comfortably! Immaculately clean. It can easily hold much larger groups. Very private, yet close to what we needed during our stay. The only down side is that the actual nightly fee is much higher due to all the fees.
