Positive: What a find !!! Stunning location , Marguerite the host was amazing , delicious and plentiful breakfast too ! Fab village restaurant in walking distance too and the castle worth a visit .

Positive: Awesome place. This 500 year old convent was completely restored into a gorgeous home. Everything was very tastefully done with authenticity & craftsmanship. Our bedroom was huge, bigger than a studio. Our host was warm & lovely, also welcoming our dog. Breakfast was homemade including plenty of fresh fruit. Had one of our best portuguese meals at Pe da Cabra, the restaurant in Upper Marialva (only interesting one).

Negative: Only having one night here!

Summary: Authentic & tastefully restored convent.
