Positive: We had an excellent two-night stay at Queijaria! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. t's a cozy, peaceful spot that was perfect for our family. My little 2 baby had a great time exploring, and we all felt instantly at home . The rooms were cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, blending comfort with charm. The breakfast each morning was an highlight-fresh local ingredients and a great selection of cheeses ( coursel). Marisa, the host, was absolutely wonderful-so friendly, welcoming, and always there with great recommendations for things to do nearby. She was absolutely amazing. We left feeling relaxed and happy, and we'd definitely love to come back!. Truly a peaceful and memorable experience! Highly recommended to everyone!

Positive: What a lovely “4-star” facility - everything is perfect amd the delightful hostess speaks perfect English. The goat cheese from this cottage cheese factory is exceptional - all organic without additives. We will place order for mature cheese to be shipped by post. We will come again!

Positive: Our host was the warmest, most generous person! Her lodging was an historic renovation that was beautiful. She greeted us with warmth as well as tea and homemade muffins. Breakfast was a feast of breads and food she has grown, followed be a tour of her farm including a history of cheese making in the region and her own cheese-making facility. She went out of her way to make dinner and an archeological tour reservation! We wished we could have stayed longer!

Positive: We arrived late in the evening and were warmly greeted by our great host Marisa with a local pastry made from almond flour(?) and offer of coffee and tea. In the morning we had a copious breakfast in the spacious shared kitchen; but we were the only guests so we had the whole undivided attention of Marisa. She served us home made rolls, fresh cheese, jams and organic produce from her farm which tasted excellent. She also gave us a lovely tour of her cheese factory for which her property was named for. On her advice we toured the castle of Marialva where we met a Spanish couple who in turn urged us to go visit the archeological engraving at the Foz Coa Archeological Park. The visit to the Penascosa site under the guidance of Mr. Marco Feirrera (Sorry if I misspell the name) was exceptionally educational and entertaining; not to be missed if you are in the area or even well worth a detour to visit one of the three sites of the park.

Negative: Our visit to the area was waayyy too short!
