Positive: Clean, spacious and comfortable. Location right on the main street. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. 2 good shower rooms. The front balcony was a great place to sit and people watch as it overlooked the main street. It was lively during the day, but quiet in the evenings.
Negative: The outside area at the back is rather uninviting, a closed concrete yard. But there is a table and chairs, and safe space if you have children.
Summary: A lovely apartment, a good base for a few days walking and exploring Douro Valley.

Positive: This property has plenty of space for a family. There was a living room, dining room, two bathrooms, three bedrooms, and a nice outdoor area. I appreciated the coffee maker, laundry, and refrigerator, as well as the proximity to the Vintage House Hotel where we attended a beautiful wedding.
Negative: There was a problem with the electricity. We had to reset the circuit breaker every hour or so when the air conditioning was on. We ended up turning off the AC and using fans with the windows open instead. The single set of keys was also not great. Recommend installing an electronic door lock with programmable codes. Finally, traveling with e-sims for phone service means that it can take an hour for phone service to re-establish in a new town. We had to go borrow a phone at the hotel to call for check-in instructions. It would be better to provide the instructions in advance.
Summary: Nice place to stay with a family in Pinhao but needs some electrical work done.
