Positive: Perfect accommodation witn nice view over the city. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen was good equipped. Terrace gives you good view, place is safe and quiet. Generally, very good place to relax. As well as Coimbra is fantastic city.

Negative: The only one problem was location relative far from city center and public transport (plus routes and schedules of city transport in Coimbra are really enigmatic for tourists). It's possible to solve this problem either by own car (free parking is available) or using Uber (3-5 euro to city center and bus/train stations) or taxi (7-8 euro).

Positive: Great views and lovely terrace for breakfast. Fascinating area to visit. The apartment is very smart, comfortable and well equipped. The hosts were lovely and helpful. Just 50 m up the hill from appartment the monastery church and enormous cloister are very worth a visit!

Negative: Well everywhere is on a hill. We walked 16km to visit lots of the (excelent) sites arond the town and almost all of them involved going up or down hill. We loved it but I am glad we are fit!

Positive: We had a really comfortable stay with lots of space for the two of us. Slept really well as the bed has a good mattress and PROPER pillows (unlike so many hotels). The host was lovely, very responsive to our messages but gave us our space during our stay. The weather was colder than we expected but the electric heater was a saviour 😊

Positive: Large comfortable apartment with an incredible unobstructed view over the river and towards the city. The host was very attentive and helpful despite having a personal emergency she needed to attend to during my stay. The bed was comfortable, modern shower with hot water, reasonably well stocked kitchen with cooktop and microwave, good wifi, personal enclosed patio with the view. Highly recommend. It's a half-mile walk to Largo da Portagem with some steep portions, but quite doable for those in reasonably good shape.

Negative: The apartment I rented was underneath the main house so the usual noise coming from people upstairs. The kitchen has an uneven 2 steps into which could be a trip hazard.
