Positive: It was a charming place. I came to Winona by train to attend a funeral. The Carriage House Bed and Breakfast was within walking distance of the train station and a block from the church where the funeral was held. My room was very comfortable, the breakfast was great and the hostesses and staff were very helpful.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: I would highly recommend this B&B for a very pleasant stay.

Positive: We have stayed at the Carriage House many times, and we have always enjoyed our stay. The lodging is charming and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and a nice social opportunity with other guests and the proprietors. The location is so convenient to the college and downtown-very walkable.

Positive: The owners were friendly and helpful. Rufus the house owners Jans dog was absolutely wonderful. The food was good and properly prepared. Property amenities were gorgeously done! A Gem and we will be back!

Negative: I like fluffy soft pillows, and a couple more wash cloths for cleaning up.

Positive: Such a beautiful home and our room was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking and birding. Breakfast was hosted in the main house in a lovely historic communal dining room. Our vegan and vegetarian dietary requests were honored with a delicious breakfast.
