Summary: I would not recommend this hotel. Over the past six weeks I have stayed in over 9 hotels across Japan. This hotel charges luxury prices, but provides basic accommodation and service. The rooms are small with modular bathrooms. Accessories are provided in single unit pouches. No coffee or tea service. You can receive only 2 instant coffee bags per day of bad coffee. The towels are frayed. Very little thought into providing up scale service.

Summary: First of all, this hotel is remarquable for the beauty of the very contemporary onsen on the top, outside as well as inside The hotel is very design in every single detail like the elevator for example. However, the room is pretty small with no real place for the suitcases. But we appreciate very much our terrasse wich is as big as the room itself with a view on the mountains afar. The hotel is facing the train station, wich is very useful for escapades in the area. It was the first stop of our trip, perfect to recover from the jetlag.
