The space is a permanently placed cottage style travel trailer, in a park like setting, with resort style amenities, on our quiet canal front property. A beautiful and peaceful spot with views that will take you back to old Florida. The canal is great for canoe rides and kayak trips and is teaming with wildlife! You can expect to see our resident alligators (3'-5'), turtles, hummingbirds, Sand hill cranes, and an abundance of fresh water carp. Inside you will find all comforts you could want.
The trailer is fully equipped with everything you will need to be comfortable, relax, and enjoy your time away from home. It has a kind size bed in the master bedroom. A beautiful well lit kitchen with a farmhouse sink, double refrigerator, oven, stove top, and microwave. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare and enjoy your meals. The living room has dual recliners to lounge back in and enjoy a good book, watch tv, or warmup by the fire place. The living room also has a love seat that becomes a pull out bed for additional sleeping (this bed is about the size of a double bed).
Included in your space is a separate theater/game room. There are board games for the whole family as well as a projector and large screen with access to Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and a DVD collection. Inside the theater/game room is a large couch where every seat reclines for added comfort! Upon request we can provide a queen size blow up mattresses and linens.
Also included in your space is a fire pit with chairs to enjoy your campfire. A picnic table as well as a charcoal and a gas grill for you grilling masters! You will also find bikes, electric scooters, kayaks, a canoe, and some fishing poles for you to enjoy the outdoors! Located on the other side of the property you will have access to an above ground swimming pool with a deck to lounge on, as well as a dock you can fish off of.
Located on our property is a 2018 Misty Harbor 20' Pontoon boat with a 115hp motor on it available for you to rent. At the end of the canal that our property sits on is the St. John's River! Just around the river's bend is Lake Beresford! We are about a 30 minute boat ride to Blue Springs State Park. We are smack in the middle of some of the most beautiful river to explore with a lot of really good restaurants you can get to by boat or car. We are walking distance to Hontoon Island State Park. Grab a scooter and take the free ferry across the river to Hontoon Island and enjoy some old Florida walking trails. Or grab a kayak and kayak to the island! Plenty to see and do here or just hang out, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Other things to note:
We do live on property, but we do not enter your space unless you ask us to. The only shared/common space will be the pool and the fishing deck. We are a friendly family and love having guests, but we always try to yield the common areas to our guests and not step on their toes. :)
We are about 5 miles from Downtown Deland/Main street. Downtown Deland is an award winning Florida Main Street community that is rich in culture, local small businesses, delicious restaurants, and an active night life. It was recognized as a "Great American Main Street" award winner and most recently won "America's Main Street" contest. Deland is the only community in America to win both awards!

Summary: Everything was just as described in the VRBO listing. Everything was clean and in working order. The travel trailer was well stocked with needed items and linen. We all swam in the pool, fished off the dock and used the game room. The property was within close driving distances to where we were visiting. We had a wonderful vacation. Would definitely visit again!

Summary: We really enjoyed the camper, and we fished out of the canal. It rained most of the weekend so we couldn’t grill, but our girls enjoyed the pool! My husband enjoyed the pool table and game room! Heather and Dan were very fast in responding to txt and nice people! It was very clean as well! Only thing I would suggest is to have some citronella in the candle outside. The sand gnats and m mosquitoes got bad when we started playing cornhole which fun too!

Summary: I brought my family of seven. Ages infant to 22 years old. My children and my grandchildren and of course myself had a great time. It was very fun cooking out, enjoying the pool, kayaking, watching movies on the big screen in their game room, and just hanging out in their wonderful travel trailer. The hosts definitely thought of everything to make us feel comfortable In their little slice of heaven by the river!

Summary: We loved the location on the canal and close to Hontoon Island. The extra Rec room and outdoor space also made our stay pleasant. RV was as advertised but a little confining and the ac/heat fan was very noisy. The electric scooters and bikes should be taken off the listing until they are replaced. Hosts communicated well and gave us privacy. Thanks!

Summary: We spent our anniversary weekend hoping to explore Blue Springs and the St Johns River. Heather and Dans property far exceeded our expectations! It was so clean it felt brand new, there was so much to do and the location couldn’t have been better. We spent a lot of time outside exploring the various marinas and waterways that’s we didn’t get a chance to rent the boat or use the game room but everything was easy to find and very well kept. We will be back!
