Positive: The house is in an excellent location in the center of the island and in a quiet location. The house is equipped with everything you need and beyond. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything you need. The hosts left us basic welcome food. It's wonderfull to enter such a house. The communication with the owners of the apartment is good and inviting and they are ready to help with anything that is needed. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Positive: This is by far the best private residence i have stayed in. Its not just about the location (which is great.... quiet neighbourhood.. what we wanted), but the attention to details. Its a house i would love to stay the rest of my life. Its not made to rent out, but its a home. The kitchen, the facilities, the crockery, spices, you name it. There are lovely books, artifacts from his various travels... can go on an on. Even the plants and unique bonsai/ cactus show the care taken. The sit out area is fabulous and we had long dinners everyday with great views and lovely skies. Our days were in the beautiful island hiking and soaking the nature and evenings in equally beautiful house. The nearby Bar Caloura is fabulous for seafood and has a great swimming area in the sea (check swimming season dates). We didnt miss the bustle of Ponta Delgada at all.

Positive: Our group of 4 friends had a great time at the property. The hosts - Maria and Rodrigo, were very easy to communicate with and welcomed us with some local food specialties, which was very appreciated after our long trip. My friends and I have stayed in hundreds of houses all over the world and this one stands out as the best equipped one by far. There is everything you could ever need in a house in terms of equipment and consumables. We really felt at home and I recommend the place if you want to have a quiet and pleasant holiday while still being very close to the main city of Ponta Delgada. Furthermore, we travelled through the whole island and we could not find a nicer neighbourhood than Caloura so that's definitely the place you would like to be at. Thank you Maria and Rodrigo for a wonderful stay!

Everything you need for self catering is available and complementary. The apartment is luxurious and spacious, cozy beds and offers privacy and comfort.
