Positive: The food was good, the staff was incredible at making you feel welcome and special. The day long snorkeling trip around coral island was an amazing experience that outshone all previous shallow water experiences around various coral reefs.

Positive: We had an amazing stay at Cahaya Asah Tioman Resort. It’s a very quiet and private spot, yet still close enough to enjoy all the popular activities the island has to offer. What we loved most was the intimacy of the experience, from the small group of guests, peaceful afternoons playing cards by the sea, quiet nights spent stargazing by the pool, serene surroundings to the fun karaoke nights. The food was both delicious and affordable, and to our pleasant surprise, there were far fewer insects than one would expect on a tropical island. The highlight, however, was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, personally greeting us with welcome drinks and snacks, checking in regularly on our stay, and offering helpful services throughout our visit. We had a lot of fun so we highly recommend this resort and would love to return soon!

The owners and staff were warm, loyal, and genuinely welcoming, making our stay feel personal and cared for. Our room was spacious, spotless, and featured a private balcony overlooking the gentle river—perfect for quiet moments of reflection. Dining was a delight, with delicious, freshly prepared meals, and the service was consistently kind and attentive. We also loved the waterfall area and spacious lounge, adding to the charm and calm of the resort. WiFi is available, blending comfort with nature. A wonderful choice for families or anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful, beautifully maintained environment. Positive: We had a very pleasant, relaxing and enjyoiable time. It was enough space for a family of four to stay in one room. The owner and staff were very heartful and helpful. There was a lot to enjoy: kayaks, a slide into the river, snorkeling, karaoke, cute cats, a pool, and a waterfall within walking distance.

Negative: No sandy beach but sufficient to do.
