Summary: This property is everything you want from a Northeast Kingdom getaway! The home is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Location is within 20 minutes of good Vermont dining but honestly, you want to stay on property forever! The views, hiking and just peacefulness of it all makes you want to curl up with a blanket, book and enjoy the crisp fall weather. We would definitely come back again and are grateful to our amazing hosts! Michael and Lillian were very accommodating and responsive our whole trip. Highly recommend!!

Summary: We recently had the pleasure of staying at this gorgeous, historic farmhouse in Cabot. The description in the listing is beyond accurate. There were just 2 of us this trip. The house is so spacious and lovely. We never even used the 2nd foor at all. But had we brought our children or friends, the home would definitely absorb a crowd, with the option of several cozy gathering spots. The grounds, landscape are so peaceful, relaxing. There's an old barn, covered bridge, old schoolhouse as well...lots of history.The vast views of the mountains and amazing sunsets can't be beat. A short drive from downtown Cabot. Plenty to do around and near the property - hiking, fishing, antiquing. Or, relax and choose to do nothing but decompress by soaking in the sights and sounds of nature's beauty. The owners are super responsive. It was a wonderful get-away. We hope to visit again!
