Summary: 8 of my high school friends (now senior citizens) traveled with us to celebrate my 70th birthday. The house was comfortable and we all enjoyed staying there. The kitchen was perfect for feeding a big group. We were there during "mud season" so I'd suggest renting a 4 wheel drive vehicle and bringing boots.

Summary: This cabin is a perfect location for a peaceful and beautiful getaway and it has all you need to enjoy friends and family. We came with bags of groceries and cooked, puzzled, snowshoed, relaxed, recharged our body batteries and reconnected with our friends. Its great for families with children or for adult getaways and it has all you need. If you like to cook its wonderful as the kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The hardware store/bar and local market is close enough that you can run out if you need anything. The views are spectacular and I would highly recommend this cabin in any season. We are considering going back in summer to fish!

Summary: Beautiful location, rustic charm, off the beaten path. We chose the Christmas week, and we knew it would be cold, but it was bitter. Once we warmed the farmhouse up, we had a great time and we had 6-8 inches of snow on Christmas Eve which made the view out across the frozen lake just breathtaking. The farmhouse catered well for 5 guests (with 3 cars) and the kitchen was well equipped to handle Christmas dinner.
