Positive: The location is excellent, just off the beach. The decor is nice. I thought the kitchen was well equipped though other reviews said it wasn't. The deck was a great place to have dinner. The front yard was great to play some footy/cricket.

Negative: This place desperately needs a dishwasher, 10 people staying for a holiday, you NEED a dishwasher. The cleaners do a VERY basic job. There was cockroach poo and spiders EVERYWHERE. Communication not great, I asked twice before we arrived about a toaster and kettle as I couldn't see them in the pics but got no answer. Yes there is a kettle and toaster. At one point I realised that I was leaving early and wouldn't be able to drop off the keys. I rang and left a message but no answer came. I was able to get my sister who lives in the area to drop off the keys. Also, the council bins had not been emptied when we arrived. We found out later that bin day was the day we arrived so we put them out when we left a week later. Kids looking forward to playing on the game machine but that did not work, hasn't worked for some time, reading another review, thought it might have been fixed by the time we arrived but no. I looked at the price it is for a week in January 2025 and was horrified, not worth over $11,000. The public can walk across the front yard of the house and it seems that when the house is empty people use the seats near the front door as there was rubbish when we got there. Not the owners fault but the rubbish had been there a while and there was a container of urine on the deck (what the ...), thus the comment on the cleaners. Also the doors to the bedroom with the single beds downstairs would not close.

Summary: Location on the beach was excellent but house has major shortcomings.

Positive: The location is fantastic. Beachfront property. Easy walk into town.

Negative: NO AIR-CONDITIONING, beware if you book in summer as it was very hot. There was one portable fan for Kitchen/lounge area that didn't work ( we called property managers and they were able to deliver a new one) On the surface, looked clean, however there were cobwebs and spiders in the corners of all rooms, window sills were thick in dust and had dead insects on them, lots of cockroach poo on flat surfaces, old bubble gum stuck to the back of one bed, dirty tissue and dust behind bed side table. We got 2 Wi-Fi codes and neither of them worked, no further response.

Summary: The Location is fantastic , the house is nice, just needs some TLC.

Negative: The house wasn't clean - sand and dust on floors, broken glass in bedroom, dirty timber cutting board on bench. It was a wet weekend, so with no clothes drier we couldn't dry towels. Dishwasher powder provided, with no dishwasher. No dishwashing liquid provided. The house was cold, with no heating. It's a sweet house in a stunning location, but didn't meet basic comfort levels, particularly for the nightly rate charged.

Summary: For a rate of $900 per night, the accommodation was not adequate and I won't stay there again.

Positive: Location and able to sleep the extended family comfortably giving space for both adults and children.

Negative: The game table not working the boys were so disappointed after seeing it in the photos. Could have had basics like salt and pepper, dishwashing detergent, spare tea towels and dishwashing scrubber attachment. Additional blankets in winter would have been valuable as it was chilly. Also a full sized ironing board as I checked if there was one (we were going to a wedding) and was told that yes there was however it was so small it was useless for doing anything.

Summary: Great for extended family with areas for children to escape and the area out front was fabulous.

Negative: for 10 people they had 2 tea bags- the bottom bathroom floor is rotting. i was there for my wedding and needed to cut something and they had no scissors :/ no basic cooking items like aluminium foil. the place needs a good renovation for be charging as much as they are
